3D Application For Android Platform
Smejkal, Jakub ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis addresses the implementation of 3D application for platform Android. Application implements simulator of Rubik's cube. Control is implemented using an inertial unit, plus other types of interfaces. To support the user's solving Rubik's cube problem is implemented an artifi cial intelligence.
Usage of Methods of Artificial Intelligence for Solving of Brain Teaser Rubic's Cube
Kočvara, Jakub ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Luža, Radim (advisor)
The goal of this paper is to explain the principles of Rubik's Cube speedsolving and use of arti cial intelligence with these methods. Application should help solvers with logical thinking and learning new algorithms.
Concrete
Andrýsek, Marek ; Kořínková, Jana (referee) ; Vaněk, Vojtěch (advisor)
Concrete is the work, which sets its goal to make connection between digital game and interactive art. Visuals of the work rely on brutalism architecture. Game mechanics is based on options offered by the aesthetics of the architecture. Visual content has been created within game engine Unity and it is controlled thru the custom controller. The controller is based on mechanics of the Rubik's cube. Visually it is adapted to the content of the work. The work is presented as a working prototype.
Rubix Cube Demonstration on Mobile Platforms
Liptáková, Daša ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
Bachelor thesis describes mobile application, which will be ser. The application is implemented for Android OS. User takes six photos of each side of Rubik's cube. The application will convert them into graphical 3D model and show it to user. After the user confirms the detected configuration, the application will solve it and shows the user how to solve it using graphical steps. Each step will be displayed to the user to follow along.
Application of CAD/CAM software PowerMILL 2020 for reverse engineering
Rais, Tomáš ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with usage of software PowerMILL 2020 in reverse engineering and introduction of additive technologies in this software. The part of a Rubbik’s cube was chosen as a model for this thesis. There will be assigned particular dimensions to ensure dimensions functionality, in the first part. In the second part, there will be designed tools, calculated technological conditions and designed machines for production. Those technological conditions will be used in next chapter, where the NC program for the production of a part will be created. In the last chapter there will be briefly executed technical – economic evaluation of designed variant.
Evolutionary Solving of the Rubik's Cube
Mališ, Radim ; Sekanina, Lukáš (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with an evolutionary solving of the Rubik's cube. The worldwide known puzzle has been for several decades not only a toy for children and adults, but also almost a lifestyle for crowds of fans and definitely a big challenge in the world of computation, where scientists seek to find an effective automated solution. The potential for its solution could also be borne by evolutionary algorithms. The author of this thesis has developed an application employing, apart from genetic algorithms, also many advanced technics, such as linear genetic programming or local search. The goal of this special technics is to make the evolutionary process more effective. There have also been made tests of the crossover, the population size and the mutation probability influence. All the tests have been statistically evaluated.

Title: Rubik's cube and related puzzles Author: Radek Chalupa Department: Department of Mathematics Education Supervisor: doc. RNDr. Antonín Slavík, Ph.D., Department of Mathematics Edu- cation Abstract: This thesis deals with the Rubik's Cube from the viewpoint of mathema- tics. We look into the mathematical rules concerning this famous puzzle and other similar puzzles. Using mathematical tools, we try to answer the question of which Rubik's Cube scrambles can possibly be solved. We learn about various problems preventing us from successfully solving the puzzle. We demonstrate the solution to these problems in a syste- matic way, separately and using examples. We also find out how many different possible Rubik Cube scrambles exist. Keywords: Rubik's cube, solvability, permutations, orientations 1
